Our Mission

Doggy Do Right's mission is to exceed all customers’ expectations by providing the best in the industry customer service, dog obedience training and canine day care program.

Company Summary

Doggy Do Right (DDR) is an obedience training facility who also offers Doggy Day Care (playtimes with other dogs) to its training clients. All training/lessons are done privately (one on one) while concentrating heavily on working around every day distractions. This is accomplished by training in and around the Town of Leesburg. The owner of Doggy Do Right, Nancy Dryden, has 7 years training experience and had most recently trained at The Dog School of Leesburg and Best Friends Pet Care. DDR plans to offer a full range of obedience programs from puppy kindergarten to basic and advanced obedience, problem solving and socialization programs.

Our Training Methodology

All of Doggy Do Right's training is private. The theory behind our training method is based on the owner becoming the "alpha" (top dog) through proper communication and respect. This means we are teaching the owner to establish dominance over the dog so that the reverse does not happen. Dominance is not punishment; rather it is the law of the pack. Since dogs live in a pack structure, a leader needs to be defined. By teaching an owner how to play the "alpha" role, in a very responsible, consistent way, the dog will understand what is expected of him/her. Essentially, we are putting the dog at ease because he/she knows their place in the pack, that you are in control, and you will protect them at all times.
